Three New Local Businesses You Need to Visit

Posted Apr 4, 2024

Windsor Essex County always has new and exciting businesses opening – these are the ones you need to check out and support this spring.

Yay for Strays Cat Café

This is the first permanent cat café in Essex County. It includes a cat boutique that’s sells cat themed merchandise and a café that serves espresso drinks and other refreshments. Then, of course, there is a cat visiting area at the back of the store that guests can purchase time to use. The cats at Yay for Strays are all available for adoption – stop by their location at 1326 Ottawa Street to meet your new best friend!

Daily Kind

This South Windsor bakery specializes in flakey, buttery croissants. Better yet, each purchase at Daily Kind supports a social initiative! They have only just opened, so make sure to stop by 2987 Longfellow to support them.

Disco Inferno

Disco Inferno caters to a 21+ crowd with a blend of dance anthems from the 1970s to current day hits. This venue is only 6 months old and is already one of the most popular spots to go dancing in Downtown Windsor! Visit their website for a list of upcoming events.
